Allow Qualified Driving Instructors to teach vital parking Manoeuvres in Hillingdon Car Parks
Hillingdon Council are discriminating against Leaner Drivers by not allowing them to practice VITAL parking manoeuvres in Hillingdon Car Parks with Qualified Driving Instructors who are allowed to teach students on Public Roads. Car parks under the Road Traffic Act are roads for which the public have access.
By trying to enforce this rule they are discriminating against driving students. Parking in a car park space is part of the DVSA's test. Driving instructors are qualified to teach. We carry the risk and there is no extra danger to the public.
We ask in the strongest possible terms that Hillingdon Council allow their car parks to be used by students who wish to practice forward and reverse bay parking. There are very few alternative places where they can learn/

Why is this important?
Students are being discriminated against. There is NO risk to the public above the level of a fully trained driver when they are being supervised by qualified driving instructors. If they are unable to practice - they will fail their driving tests

How it will be delivered
I will deliver the results of this to MP's and Hillingdon Council. I will not be creating a facebook page as we want real petitioners from Hillingdon and the surrounding areas to be involved as they are the ones being discriminated against.
