INVESTMENT IN REDCATCH PARK
We call for all City of Bristol Councillors to support a major investment in Redcatch Park Knowle, which although successful and popular because of local effort, has suffered because of lack of central council spending for 10 years. We ask for the support of all councillors and that the council administration set aside £500K specifically for this park’s investment needs. We also wish the spending to be guided by local parks groups and local councillors.

Redcatch Park is the hub of the community with hundreds of people of all ages, from small children, famillies and the elderly using it for sport, play, walking and socialising. It is essential for their physical and mental wellbeing. It is only popular following years of hard work by volunteers but now needs essential funding for some major improvements, especially as the nearby development will see a huge increase in use.
