More Funding for Schools

After watching the BBC documentary "School" regarding the funding pressures facing The Castle School in South Gloucestershire, it has highlighted the desperate need to petition the Government, so they know that we care deeply about the state of our schools and will not stay silent or indifferent on this issue.

Please either sign this petition or email your local MP to ask them to speak out on this issue and readdress the Budget allocated to Education in this country. School Leadership should not have to resort to redundancies, slashing pastoral support and increasing class sizes just to scrape by on what the Government hand out to them.

Why is this important?

So many societal problems could be avoided if we treat the new and younger generation well and nurture them through the Education System and into adulthood. But this requires adequate funding. Why do Britain's roads deserve vastly more money in the Budget than our schools?
