Open Arlington shops and public car park

We're calling on Thanet Council, to make sure Arlington landlords, Freshwater open the Arlington shops and the 500 space public car park in time for the opening of Dreamland on June 19th 2015. As per the terms of their lease.

Why is this important?

Arlington is one of the first thing you see when you come out of Margate railway station. Billionaire leaseholders Freshwater only pay Thanet Council £7,500 per year for the entire Arlington site, which is less than the yearly rent on a shop in Margate!

Tesco have pulled out of opening a superstore at Arlington and Dreamland is opening on June 19th. Now is the time for Thanet Council to act. Dreamland needs to be a success. Walking past a boarded up site and with badly needed parking out of use isn't acceptable.
