Open up empty buildings in Sheffield

Follow the lead of Manchester and open up empty buildings for homeless people this winter. The number of homeless people in the UK has risen year on year since 2010 . To turn the tide, politicians need to make sure the right support needs are available in every area so that no one has to live on our streets, the gap is growing and low wages coupled with high housing prices are seeing more and more forced onto the streets. John Lewis plan to spend 7 million pounds on this years Christmas advert, 1% of that would save lives.

Please spare a thought for them this Christmas. Warm words are cold comfort to those sleeping rough if we fail to act

Why is this important?

To plead to the Council to open its empty buildings to the homeless in winter. I cant imagine sleeping rough in driving, biting winds, snow, ice and winter rain. It's inhumane. It's also inexcusable when we have so many empty buildings. Every signature helps & karma will reward you ( 'cos Cameron bloody won't!)
