Real Inheritance Safeguards Needed Now

Dear Minister for Justice,

We require the Inheritance Laws so that the dead person’s will has to be complied with fully, which is not the case at the moment. Furthermore, very severe penalties put in place for anybody, or organisation, who does not execute as required by the deceased.

Why is this important?

As British Law stands today anybody can by-pass a Will, and it happens daily without penalty. The Ministry of Justice are fully aware that the regulations in place at the moment are impotent, they do not include all the European Laws and there are no controls or penalties in place when anybody administers a Will wrongly.

My Father, Alan Edward Hindley's Will was mal-administered depriving his two grandsons, who he loved dearly, of their inheritance. The Law, the police, even the UK Government are fully aware that this happened in our case and that it happens daily to many others; yet, they are prepared to do nothing.

The system in place at present is completely immoral and permits a Will to be bypassed. This must be rectified in order to prevent further abuse and heart ache to other families in the future.
