Romanian Consular Surgeries in Leeds
ON THE BEHALF OF THE ROMANIAN COMMUNITY PLEASE COULD YOU KINDLY TAKE IN CONSIDERATION THE REQUEST MADE BY THE CONSULATE GENERAL OF ROMANIA IN EDINBURGH AND THE ROMANIAN HONORARY CONSULATE OF LEEDS AND AUTHORISE THIS EVENT TO GO AHEAD AS PLANNED ON THE DATES MENTIONED BELOW.
Why is this important?
There is a request made by the Romanian Consulate for authorisation to organise a Itinerant Consulate in Leeds on 13th, 14th and 15th of November to support vulnerable families in our community with their expired passports and one way travel documents. Moreover, they are not able to apply for the settlement scheme, especially children, due to a lack of valid documents as the birth certificates will not be accepted by the British authorities.
In line with the UK Government guidance on New National Restrictions this event will still be able to take place and the Consulate General of Romania in Edinburgh are keen to provide you with all the information you may need on this matter.
