Save BBC Oxford TV from closing in November
Tell Rhodri Talfan Davies that BBC South Today Oxford is an essential part of the greater Oxfordshire community. Without their excellent news coverage it would leave Oxford and the surrounding communities without any local news coverage. Most people get their local news from their local TV station, not from Southampton, BBC Sounds or iPlayer. The greater Oxfordshire community needs to keep this valuable resource active and it must not be closed.
Why is this important?
Everyone living in the greater Oxfordshire area depends on local coverage of news and events. Without the excellent daily news coverage presented by BBC South Today Oxford there would be a massive black whole in regards to news and happenings throughout Oxfordshire. BBC South Today which is located in Southampton can not provide the local coverage which South Today Oxford provides and we have all grown to depend on.
