Save the Railcare workshops in Wolverton and Glasgow

The workshops have been saved as the sale of the company has gone through. Unfortunately jobs were lost on the way but it's really good news that work there will continue and a historic part of Britain's rail heritage will continue to exist.

Dear Vince Cable,
Please put measures in place to provide the short-term funding that is needed to carry these companies through a period of financial difficulty that can be resolved with the projected increase in orders for their products in the future.

Why is this important?

It's not just the jobs, it's the communities, the other businesses, the hope for the future that our financial short-termism has got no hope of providing.
