Swimming Pool for Market Rasen
Build a swimming pool at the proposed new leisure centre. There are plenty of other ‘dry’ alternatives in the area and new ones are not needed
Why is this important?
The people in this area have been asking for a swimming pool for nearly 40 years. Together the community have fundraised for a pool but this money seems to have been spent on other projects. We want the council to listen to us and give us the services we actually want, not the ones they think we need.
We already have a number of 'dry' services, what we really need is a pool. Swimming is great for general wellbeing, it de-stresses and relaxes, it improves sleep and offers a great alternative to those who may have long term injury or illness and are unable to use a gym or take a class.
