The BBC Needs To Report News Not Gossip
Dear BBC
On Saturday 21 June 2014 50000 marched in one of our major cities London, yet only one newspaper reported it, The Guardian.
But of greater concern to me is there was nothing on the BBC News. Now we have a choice whether or not to buy the papers but are forced to pay up for the BBC. As a licence payer I wish to receive news from the BBC not just gossip. I believe 50000 people marching in one of our major cities against the policy of austerity carried out by our elected government is news.
Please would you now take the time to explain to me why the BBC News Desk did not consider such a large demonstration and march in our capital city against government policy news.
Yours

Why is this important?
On Saturday 21 June 2014 50000 marched in one of our major cities London, but this was ignored by all the national newspapers bar one.
There was also no coverage on any of the BBC News channels. I believe 50000 people marching in our capital city against the policy of austerity carried out by our elected government is news.
Is this a further sign that the BBC is swinging to the right and therefore denying an alternative voice. I believe the BBC should, unlike our media Baron owned newspapers, remain unbiased but is this a sign that this is no longer the case.
