Tick Tock We Want Our Clock

Return the seafront clock to a place of prominence in Weston Super Mare. That could be the seafront, or a garden by the railway station. The clock has been stored at Sandford for four years, it is 'time' to bring it from storage, restore it, and put it public view.

Why is this important?

The clock is of LOCAL interest, being part of the bus station that served Weston super Mare since 1929 until it's demolition in the 1980's. The clock was then refurbished by and at the expense of Abbey National Homes with Weston Hoteliers Association and given to the people of Weston super Mare. The clock then stood on stilts on the seafront until the seafront was 'modernised' four years ago. Since then the clock has rotted away in an outside storage yard at Sandford.
