Traffic Light Crossing
I would like a traffic light crossing to be installed Great West Road opposite Convent Way in Heston. We would like the zebra crossing to be installed on Hayes Road opposite our community mosque which is situated directly opposite convent way, southall.
Why is this important?
The community have voiced their concerns for example when you get off the bus to cross the road it takes for ever due to flowing traffic and when people do cross one part of the road it's another task to stand in the middle of the road in a small island with children and the elderly who are fragile. In the next couple weeks that area will be more busy than ever with Ramadan coming in a few weeks. I think this would be a amazing achievement specially just prior to an election which would get the community buzzing.
The crossing is between two main bus stops toward Southall and Hayes, Heston, Hounslow also several major shopping stores such as Costco, Toys R Us and Tesco.
Is it going to take someone to get injured or even killed?
How it will be delivered
I plan to deliver this petition by hand as soon as I have enough signatures
