Wealdstone Tower Blocks
In light of the tragic fire in Grenfell Tower Block. And Sadiq Khan's previous objections to Tower Blocks (whilst in opposition). Will the London Mayor reconsider his approval of two 17 storey tower blocks in Wealdstone.
Why is this important?
This application was turned down by the local Harrow Council and objected to by local residents, as completely out of character with the current low level housing in the area. The whole area is already a regeneration scheme with plans for over 2500 new dwellings and no plans for additional infrastructure such as roads. It will completely gridlock the area and be of no benefit to the local economy.
