Talk to the Peaceful Anti-Fracking Protester on Hunger Strike Opposite 10 Downing St

Please go and talk to Gayzer Frackman, the peaceful, passionate advocate for anti-fracking who sited himself in the official Protest Pen opposite No 10 and started his hunger strike on Monday 23rd November 2015.

Why is this important?

His request is simple; he wants to speak to you Mr Cameron, to present you with scientific evidence and to show you the social opposition to fracking, particularly from Lancashire where he lives, but he also acts as a passionate green voice for many people in the UK who feel the same way.
He isn't a scientist, or a powerful politician or a celebrity; he is a regular everyday bloke who believes fracking is a very bad idea - today (4/12/2015) is his 12th day without food.
He wants to talk to you about the exponential growth of support from regular everyday folks who don't have a voice on the telly, the radio or in the papers, but who want you and our government to deliver renewable, sustainable, safe options to power our country.
He just wants to talk to you Mr Cameron - go and see him!

Gayzer has no PR or media team, no YouTube channel or popular blog page to help raise his profile.
Please show your support for his plight; he is your next-door neighbour, he is the voice in the supermarket queue, he is the one who is putting everything on the line to try to protect the future of all of our children.

Gayzer Frackman is now on his 14th day of hunger strike in the Protest Pen opposite No 10 Downing Street.

He's still trying to get David Cameron to come and speak to him about fracking to no avail.

Despite the fact we haven't had any weighty awareness raised by the media, we've somehow managed to inspire 527 people to sign this in 2 days and it has caught the eye of a few high profile voices too. On behalf of Gayzer, we send heartfelt thanks to you all - now it's time to ramp things up a bit.

At midday on Monday 7th December Gayzer will be delivering evidence on the irrefutable dangers of fracking to No 10.

My husband Simon and I are going to meet Gayzer at 10am tomorrow at the gated entrance to Downing Street to thank him personally for all he has done to help the people of this country. If you'd like to join us, we'd love to meet you.

Please share this with your networks and see knitfortheplanet.com/2015/12/fracking-downing-striker/ for more details.

Gayzer is on the 13th day of his hunger strike and every day, he speaks to the armed police posted at the gates and politely sends his message asking David Cameron to come and speak to him about fracking; to no avail.

Gayzer's strength is naturally a little depleted but his determination and resilience couldn't be stronger - he is positively fuelled by all of your kind efforts forwarding this petition to your friends and local media.

I hope you don't mind me asking to share our petition on your social media again to try and double the number of signatures collected. Also, if you are able to alert your local newspaper of the story, I know Gayzer will be over the moon.
