ABOLISH THE WORK CAPABILITY ASSESSMENT FOR PEOPLE WITH AUTISTIC SPECTRUM DISORDERS AND DEPRESSION

For people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and Depression the Work Capability Assessment is cruel damaging and psychologically torturous. Already the mental anguish caused by this assessment has led to suicide self harm and despair. As for the many who have been totally misunderstood by this process, due to an inability to express themselves and produce answers to irrelevant tick box questions we are merely cast to the darkness of long term poverty.

The WCA is totally inhumane for people with invisible, but well documented mental health issues, especially for people with a factual medical history recognised by their Consultants and General Practitioners.
