Equal pension rights for Veterans of Her Majesty's Forces.

Pay Veteran members of the forces who served before and up to 1975, a pro rate pension in retrospect of time served.

Why is this important?

1 Service persons contributed indirectly to pensions by adjusted pay, and receive nothing for thier contributions.
2 Many Veterans served long periods of service, but due to many reasons did not reach the required 15 years service for officers, or 22 years for other ranks.
3 Many were demobbed as low a 2 days before reaching the pensionable 15 or 22 years.
Families supported their partners and parents, moving at least every 3 years on postings, or living without a partner for long periods. Children were subjected to new schools, and teachers, or were boarded. All service persons had the vision of leaving the services after the required period with a good gratuity, and pension. And of course the chance of being able to work, and increasing the resulting pension at pensionable age. How many were demobbed a few days before the full serving period?. Many Veterans today just manage to exist, pride is that what keeps them going. They also live in the knowledge that service persons today receive a pension pro rate after just 2 years service.
This is not only an abuse of equal rights, but also unfair, we need help because of the negative attitude towards our efforts to get justice.
Things are not getting better for Veterans, not only are many on the bread line, but now are suffering abuse, as a thanks for the service, and loyalty given over the years.

ning all, you may have noticed that there is a Government petition on Our site on Facebook, and i would ask you too sign it.
Sadly Chris who with his wife and 2 other lads presented this petition a few years ago now, was on his last parade. RIP Chris. Although very ill Chris kept in contact, and had a few ideas for the group. Now at 84 i am noticing that i tend to forget things, and it wont be long before i ook for sommeone to take on the group. I know its hard, but we may need a solicitor and i would like to know what you think abour a Quid per person to pay for one, and also too donate too 38 degrees, for providing us a platform. Once again i must appologise for not looking in on the petition. Some sad news Chris Cooper who presented this petition the first time at no 10 has sadly been on the last parade. His Funeral is on the 5th September at 1115 at the Bluebell Cemetary in Halsted Kent. The RNA are helping here as Chris was a Navy man. We are looking at presenting our petition again this year, and i thank 38 degrees for looking after us. At the moment our efforts are being directed at the Councils of GB, after the Midlo0thian View published a super article concerning our efforts. So thanks to you all from my heart, im feeling my age sadly but at 84 im old, Ok im bragging but sadly i have no other faults anylonger like looking at luverly girls walking past my wheels when my physiotherapist takes me out for a walk, even she does no have to sa "behave your self" and she is a luverly bit of stuff....ok enough stay safe and take care John in Germany-

Hi all its a long time since i last wrote, and i will not go into it too much, Illness, and ma wife fell, which at our age is no sugar licking. We are working hard on the group, and are getting some good results, but still a bock headed MOD who are not interested in us atall. The reason is clear, we are acuusing the Judges. and that is always a problem. I would like to thank you all for staying with us . Stay safe and take care. Hi all, we are waiting for the finalizing of the Referendum in February, before our next move on the group in Face Book. The MOD are financing many Military Charities, so no wonder we are having problems getting help from the main ones RBL, Ssafa, and others have firstly said super we will help and then they were pulled off by the MOD.

At the moment we are having to take time in what we do the passing of our Queen, and the follow up has of course slowed things down a bit. Sadly i have noticed how many im alright Jacks thier are on FB. Many veterans as well, its worrying but confirms the statement i made in the begining, thier were many ass kreepers in the military, yes sir no sir three bags full sir. Hi all, i am still recovering after my op, but have been asked to see if we can get funding for a Barister to go to court with the Mod. I know that many of you have been done by the Blair rubbish, sorry but selecting her was a failure so obviouse she was not neutral. However that is now history and it is considered as past. Thousands of you will not be able to contribute, thats what its all about and that is ok, we that can will im sure consider and then decide. You all know the situation forget politics or we will get no where. Thanks for the loyalty over the years.

For those interested we have on the group a Document Made by Rob Parris an Admin with the info provided by the other admins. PM me and i will send you a copy if you are interested. This doc is clear proof that we were robbed as we had abbated pay, you did not know? not many did it was 7 to 11% of your miserable pay. 365 day a year at 24 hrs a day---no overtime, time off in lieu. no compensation, and then robbed of a pension , and gratuities.

I have just had 8 weeks in hospital and am getting back to my old strength. Once again hanks to those who have signed, i know we are dragging on before we place the petition but we need help...........where is the best place to present our petition....on the Radio or tv,,,,,to the MOD no way, they are those who we are accusing with all the rights of veterans, and thier Friends and supporting Families. Hi All, sorry for the long delay but i was in hospital for 8 weeks, and was not able to do much. due to medication. Ok now back home and busy as usual. We are now considering placeing the petition, and i would be very greatfull for suggestions as to where we place it. Over the monthe the admin of the group https://www.facebook.com/groups/ArmedForcesPensionEqualityForAllVeterans/ have been consilidating information gathered from Gov.org sites, From Hansard and other top sources. So we know we have no fake news. We have of course members that are there to inform the MOD about our activities. But we do not worry about them, as we had suh types when we served....always running too the Oc the creeps. Stay safe and take care.

Hi all, at the moment due to the virus, and a regrouping things are quiet on the Western Front. Many of us are concerned with the situation in Ukrain and rightly so. Many of us oldies were cold war service persons, and due to the fact that we were well informed often worried about our country and its people. To day we look at a president who is hanging on by a hair, and uses a whole force costing Billions to increase his popularity. We dont want o get political so i will stop there. On the pensions group i asked where we could place our petition to he best benifit, sad to say the result was miserable....no interest so i would like to ask you for suggestions as to where we could place the petition to the most effectiveness. Hi all, after regrouping we are getting near to the new inforation and documents. Many members of the group have been contacting thier mps to no avail, we now why of coursem by agreeing too us they are adminting that our statement used and abused is and was true. We are non political but i believe if you do not get help from an MP its time to let him or her knowthat you can change who you vote for anytime. This is not black mailing as they do the same all the time. When the new work is completed we will publish it here a,d hope you will all pass iz on to your MPs and any others you think may be interested in our plight.
