Grant Kelvin Bilal Fawaz British Citizenship

Grant Kelvin Bilal Fawaz British Citizenship

We want them to review Kelvin Bilal Fawaz's right to stay in the United Kingdom as a full British citizen.

Why is this important?

He was brought here at age 14 , subjected to life as a domestic slave, managed to escape and has since fought in numerous boxing matches for England and earned himself 3 titles. He is now waiting in a detention centre after being arrested during a training session. He has applied for visas for The United Kingdom but continues to be rejected and cannot apply for a Nigerian passport as he is not recognised by the Nigerian government.

Please read more on his story here.

Because his basic human rights are being violated. By no fault of his own he has been put into the position he has been in and now is being punished for it.

Reasons for signing

  • This heartless and cruel process of deporting people who have made this country their home must stop if we are to call ourselves a civilised country.
  • If he was good enough to compete and win titles under the British Flag then he should be allowed to stay in this country
  • This type of case clearly shows this govt. has no coherent immigration policy but is far too concerned with appeasing it’s right wing .
