Speed Calming in Madeley

Install speed cameras and speed calming humps through the main thoroughfare in Madeley village.

Why is this important?

Motorists are driving above the 30 mph speed limit, accidents are happening. Someone will be seriously injured or killed.

Hi everyone,

Just to let you know that our petition has reached over 500 signatures (website plus hard copies)in less than 2weeks. We have arranged a meeting to hand over the petition at the Madeley Centre on Thursday 3rd August 7-00pm. Invitations have gone out to various dignateries asking if they will attend.

At present Newcastle Rural Division County Councillor Paul Northcott has said he will attend.

Please attend if you possibly can, your views are important and need to be heard.

Our campaign looks to have a more generic approach at speed calming and welcomes all ideas and input to eventually offer to the appropriate authorities for there perusal. Thank You.
