Object to the A38 road development around Derby

Reason for signing

  • Declaring a Climate Emergency is meaningless if you then continue to make decisions which are contributing to that very emergency. I can't get my head round why we would spend £250million to finance a project which will put more CO2 and more pollution into the atmosphere, when we should be doing all we can to discourage people from using cars. Why don't we invest some of that money in cycle infrastructure and improving public transport, or subsidising public transport?
