My late father and his brothers spend a lot of time on The Heath - it was their playground, and their place of solace during the Depression and WWII. I shared the Heath with my dad, and it was a very special place to us. So much so that after his death, I flew back to England and, with my brothers, 'took' Dad for one last visit, and scattered some of his ashes there. The Heath is invaluable to the community -- it s priceless in its history and meaning. Please don't spoil it further!
