Stop persecuting British Army Veterans

Please stop the unwarranted and unnecessary persecution of British Army veterans from the Troubles in Northern Ireland and overseas theatres of war.

Why is this important?

90% of all deaths during this period were caused by the IRA not British Soldiers.
To put them through unnecessary investigations now when most are retired is callous and quite beyond relevant to today. It certainly is not in the public interest.
We The British Public call upon the Government to draw a line now and stop spending money on a consultation which is not wanted by the electorate.
When Terrorists are given Pardons and even “Letters of Comfort” (quite beyond us), it beggars belief that honest hard working or retired soldiers are still not able to be at peace.

Overwhelmed by the replies and signatories.
Praying for the big number so we can challenge the Government on this awful situation.
For those with family who served and for those who served, thank you for the support.
Let’s stop the madness and tell the Government that we do not support the persecution of any soldier doing their bidding under difficult circumstances.
