TTIP SHOULD GO TO A NATIONAL UK REFERENDUM

The TTIP negotiations when complete should be put to a UK wide referendum as it represents a loss of sovereignty and a shift in power away from the Westminster Parliament to the EU and United States.

Why is this important?

The UK Government have assured us that any other transfer of sovereignty away from the Westminster Parliament should be put to a referendum. This treaty is a back door method of getting around this pledge to the detriment of our democracy and sovereignty.
