National Pharmacy Association

The National Pharmacy Association is the representative voice of local community pharmacies across the UK. More than half of pharmacies are family owned and run, small to medium sized businesses - around 7000 independent pharmacies UK-wide.

Pharmacies are a local lifeline and are playing a vital role in the nation’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.  They provide a range of NHS services, ensure people can get face to face care without an appointment, and take pressure off GPs and hospitals.

The National Pharmacy Association is campaigning to save Britain’s community pharmacies, which are under threat from chronic underfunding and the extra costs of COVID-19.
