DERBY STANDS TOGETHER

There is a protest in Derby outside the Council House at 11 am this Saturday called DERBY STANDS TOGETHER. It has been organised at very short notice, by Dave Clasby, a well known activist. A major theme is asking people to protest about the rise in racism and xenophobia since the referendum. David asked the police commissioner to come. Derby North MP, Amanda Solloway, says she supports it and that she may come. Hope not Hate are supporting it.

As I write work is being done to get support from the Unite Community branch and the Peoples Assembly. It is all very short notice but I think it is better to do something than not.

I will be there with some blank 38 Degrees placards and pens. It is up to you to write things on them.
