Dont let them cut 535 in Derbyshire beds - Lobby of the Southern Derbyshire NHS CCG management board

Thousands of people are being left waiting on trolleys in hospital corridors - ill, scared and alone - because there aren’t enough NHS hospital beds. Yet last month our Derbyshire Health Services published their plans (‘www.southernderbyshireccg.nhs.uk/publications/joinedupcarederbyshire/) proposing to
 Cut 535 hospital beds - 30% fewer than we have now
 Cut the budget by £219 million per year.
 Ignore the £136 million funding gap which the Derbyshire and Derby Councils need to find.

These draconian plans are part of the Government Sustainability & Trans-formation Plans (STPs) to make a massive £22 billion savings by 202.
