European Day of Action against commercialisation of Health and Social Services

April 7th is World Health Day. In response to the top down dictat to Kirklees council, making them develop a 'Health Plan' by the end of June and also to support and highlight the action taken by the Junior Doctors to preserve our NHS, we are turning up at the main entrance to Dewsbury Hospital on Halifax Road, Dewsbury, with a plain white sheet to symbolise Healthcare free from the rapacity of transnational corporations. Many people do not know they are already feasting on the NHS. If you would like to turn up for half an hour to an hour, that would be great.
