Hand-delivering our message: Stop cuts to Hampshire's concessionary bus pass! ✉️

Join us as we hand-deliver letters to Hampshire County Council, demanding that they re-consider the cuts to the bus pass for disabled and older people  ✉️

The decision to cut back on the bus pass saves just £75,000 but comes at huge expense to disabled people's independence, wellbeing and finances.

We'll gather outside Hampshire County Council to show the strength of opposition as we deliver letters from affected residents, bus pass holders, campaigners and supporters. Every letter carries a powerful message: these changes must not go ahead! ✉️

Want to take part? Bring a letter, bring a friend, and help us to send a powerful message to halt these cuts. 🛑

As well as sharing your reasons for opposing the changes, you could also share a personal story has made a difference to your life.

You can address your letters to Councillor Nick Adams-King (Leader), Councillor Lulu Bowerman (Highways and Waste), Councillor Kirsty North (Universal Services), or your local councillor.

If you can't make it on the day, send your letter anyway.

We will be inviting the media, so a strong turn-out is crucial. Why not bring a sign or placard for extra visibility?

Make sure to RSVP for updates.
