Meltdown of Derbyshire Mental Health Support

Hear about the crisis in mental health and join the fightback.

The first speaker is the Derbyshire Police commissioner , Hardyal Dhindsa, who will be talking about the extra pressures upon the police service due the rise in mental health problems.

We will also have speakers from Derbyshire Psychotherapy Service unit, which is being threatened with closure, and from the Padley centre and the Mental Health Action group. There will be representatives from the Samaritans.

The meeting is being organised in partnership with the Derby Unite community branch.
