NHS Day of Action - Save Our NHS petition and NHS Reinstatement Bill

A pop-up information point in the town centre to spread awareness of the threat to the NHS in England and add to the hundreds of signatures in its defence that have been collected at previous events.
The event will also highlight the NHS Reinstatement Bill 2015 (www.nhsbill2015.org) that has been tabled for the next Parliament to debate and call on local prospective Parliamentary candidates to vote for it if elected.
TIME: We’re going for an earlier-than-before start of 10am but that doesn’t mean that everyone has to turn up on the stroke of ten.
In fact, it’s probably better if we have informal overlapping time shifts of volunteers so that we can share the job out and keep the event going for as long as we can, maybe through to 1.30pm or later. Let us know what would be best for you, on this forum or by emailing us at the address below.
LOCATION: We will have our information table and petition point by the Dorothy Perkins side window on the Ryemarket open concourse off the High Street, plus some extra campaign identity so we can be seen from some way off. 'Roving' clipboard-wielders are encouraged!
DRESS CODE (Optional!) If you want to wear your heart on your sleeve (or over your heart, actually!) 38 Degrees have got special ‘I Love NHS’ tee-shirts available on their website, in exchange for a donation towards costs. Get yours here: https://secure.38degrees.org.uk/page/s/get-your-i-love-nhs-tshirt#petition
There are many other concerns surrounding aspects of the NHS that are being expressed locally by supporters, particularly mental health provision, maternity services, shrinking GP treatment options and other issues that will be be represented on the day.
If you have 38 Degrees NHS petition blanks and information leaflets left over from previous events, please bring them along.
