NHS & Social Care Campaigners Workshop
Cornwall and Devon
A day for activists to learn, meet, and plan

Lucy Reynolds, activist and research fellow at the London School of Tropical Medicine. She will speak about PFI debt and the devolution of the NHS to localities.
Deborah Hopkins, nurse; Unite and Labour Party activist. She will speak about the NHS funding crisis.
Agenda
The morning will be devoted to speakers, questions, and discussion and the afternoon to small, practical workshops discussing what to do and how. Participants will structure the small groups to suit the way they want to work. Please see the workshop as a first step towards working groups where members agree to maintain contact after the conference and develop and implement their own campaign plan of action in the coming months ahead. Whether or not this happens is very much down to participants, but this conference can be the beginning of a process, not a one-off event.
