Public Meeting - Save our Catholic Schools from Academisation

Liverpool TUC and Liverpool NEU have organised a public meeting to discuss the plans to force all Catholic schools within Liverpool Archdiocese to convert to an academy. All TUC education unions oppose academies due to inflated executive pay, lack of accountability and the erosion of staff terms and conditions. The meeting is to raise awareness of the campaign, hear the case against academisation, and the experiences of those who are affected by these plans.
