Support the Christmas March to Save Dorchester Hospital Children's Wards

Dorset NHS Facilities are under threat of closure and dilution as the government has not been providing sufficient funding. Under the year-old Dorset Clinical Services Review, half the community hospitals will close and some services at Dorchester hospital are under threat of being moved to Poole or Bournemouth, such as Paediatrics, Maternity, A&E etc.
The Kingfisher Children's Ward action group organised a march through Dorchester last June which attracted around 2000 marchers. It is necessary to keep the pressure on the Dorset NHS bosses who are attacking our facilities in Dorchester hospital, hence they are organising this second march. There will be entertainment during the march and at the finish
