20🚙🚙 is Plenty

In Merstham we have four schools, many young families and a large elderly community.
Speeding traffic seems to be coming an increasing problem in our area. Residents are becoming increasingly concerned that someone is going to get hurt or worse on our residential roads due to to dangerous driving.
The current speed limit is thirty miles per hour that many flaunt.
We believe that due to parked cars, tighter roads, more traffic, many children, families,elderly and even pets. That twenty miles per hour on our neighbourhood streets would be a lot safer speed.
Many housing estates that have schools, doctors surgeries and local amenities already have twenty miles an hour speed limits in place acrosstheUK. I believe Merstham should be the same.
It really could be the difference between life and death if an accident were to happen.
