A reliable rail link between London and Penzance

Much news time is given to improving rail links between London and the north of England. Meanwhile our rail link is cut or seriously restricted every time there is a storm on the Devon coast and speed is always restricted along the Devon estuaries. An inland route is there it just needs upgrading. The coastal towns should be continued to be served by good branch lines.

Why is this important?

Cornwall needs good full time well paid employment to enable our children and grandchildren to stay. This will never happen until government and companies invest in the area and a good reliable train link is essential to that investment.
