A vote of confidence in the democratically elected Deputy Leader of the Labour Party Tom Watson.

This petition is to enable Labour Party members to show their support for Tom Watson, the democratically elected Deputy Leader of the Labour Party.

Tom has his own mandate from the members, and therefore cannot be removed on the whim of either the leader, or a particular group of members.

Why is this important?

This is important because the mandate Tom has is from those entitled to vote in the election. Tom has done a brilliant job as Deputy Leader of the party, standing up for the members, taking on the government and trying to create an election winning machine.
