Remove adoption age limit

There is an age limit for adoption of 18 years old and not all adults have made this decision by this age. I want to see the age limit being removed as if a potential mum, dad and adoption person haven’t decided before there 18th they cannot go ahead. I feel this is wrong because if an 18+ want a new family for whatever reason it could only be good for there sense of belonging and mental health. I have this situation and this would make this person feel that she has chosen who she wants to call mum and dad and feel for once in her life included in a loving family as her biological parent don’t make her feel wanted.

It can only make unloved or unwanted children/ adults feel included if they wish to take this step
