To: Aldi

Aldi, stop issuing parking fines to people shopping in your stores.

Stop issuing parking fines to your customers through your parking company Parking Eye just for failing, or forgetting to enter their vehicle registration in store.
Entering a vehicle registration number in store should NOT be a requirement for free parking and parking fines should be dropped immediately for anyone who can prove they were parked in order to shop in Aldi (by providing an Aldi receipt for the time of parking).
Shopping in Aldi should be the ONLY requirement for free parking in your car parks, as anyone can easily forget to register, be distracted at the wrong time, or the system simply fail to record their entry. Persuing and fining decent, honest customers £70 for shopping in your stores is immoral and disgusting.
I encourage people to shop elsewhere until Aldi and Parking Eye stop pursuing this method of upping their profits.

Why is this important?

This is important as these fines will hit the elderly and those with children most, as they are the most likely to forget to enter their registration number, or be distracted from doing so. It also hits those who can afford to pay these fines the least - the very people who are most likely shopping at Aldi in the first place!
