BRING DOWN THE 54% ENERGY HIKE TO 4%
please bring down the energy bill hike to a reasonable level of 4%, energy companies already make gross huge profits they don't need energy hikes, customers don't need energy hikes. This has been the one main reason its caused a huge cost of living crisis to everyone whether its an individual, ordinary working class family, elderly couples and businesses up and down the country whether large or small, whether part of a global company to a local family run business corner shop.
It has taken money out of peoples pockets, now people struggle to make ends meet, they have to decide can I heat my home or business, can I afford to eat.
This has had dramatic effect on our high streets and town centres and local communities, thousands have lost jobs, we have bigger than ever demand/pressure on essential food bank use by many working families and people living on their own, many can't afford the basics let alone Christmas or any other special events.
This has not only caused huge hardship and suffering but people have lost their homes because of their affordability to be able to pay such huge energy demands on top of their other basic living costs.
We have to force the government to do something about this even if its cut to just 10% or even much less. People need cash in their pockets and food in their mouths just to be able to survive.
This is uk 2023, we don't need this hanging over our daily lives, give the money back to the ordinary people of our country. Stop our country being Rip off Britain for the basic essentials.
