Bus pass in England for over 60s
Provide payment towards local Authorities for bus passes for all over 60s.
Why is this important?
People should join the petition not only because it is totally unfair but also for the good of the Enviroment & Climate Change.
Currently, people living in Wales,, Scotland , Northern Ireland & inner City London can obtain a free bus pass at 60 years old, however in the rest of England, you can only obtain one when you are of pension age.
We believe this isn't fair or equitable and in fact totally discriminates against England and so we call upon the Government to pay towards free bus passes to all those who are over 60 years old.
Providing these passes from 60 years old could also be better for the environment. Air pollution & Climate Change with less people traveling in there cars etc as it would encourage more people to use public transport, which could reduce car use or maybe result in people getting rid of there car's altogether.
