Camden Council - recognise non-wheelchair-bound disabled people for council tax reduction.

Camden Council do not recognise non-wheelchair users as being eligible for their disabling discount. This needs to change.

Why is this important?

Disability has a massive financial impact on many disabled people - not only those who are wheelchair bound. Camden Council need to recognise this.

In my case, being unable to work, having adaptations made to my home and living essentials, and having to be cared for around the clock did not make me eligible, simply because I do not use a wheelchair.

This short-sighted and archaic view of disability has no place in the 21st Century.
