Cancellation of Pensioners 'Triple Lock"

The bulk of pensioners in the UK depend on their NIRP. They are an easy target for Government to make savings but nobody seems concerned about them being to afford food/heating when they have no option to improve their lot by taking an extra job etc. Is it not inhumane to plunge them into poverty by failing to increase their pensions by at least the amount to maintain their ability to pay the bills? The 'triple lock" gave them some security to maintain their current lifestyle albeit at a minimum level. It is unjust to penalise these poor people at the end of their working lives!

Why is this important?

All pensioners need to stand up to Government now. If they want to write us off as part of the future now then they should realise this is breaching a contract. We paid everything required during our working lives and to find this was a lie then the matter should be referred to the courts.
