Change government funding for homelessness

To dedicate more government funding to homeless people. Give more money to homeless shelters and food banks to help people escape the endless cycle.

Why is this important?

  • 976. 976 people died while homeless in the UK in 2020, a 37% increase from 2019.
  • Rough sleepers are 17 times more likely than the general public to experience abuse.
  • Someone sleeping rough is 9 times more likely to die by suicide than a member of the general public.
