Change planning and vacant building law
Change the law around vacant building protection and make it a lawful requirement to stop arson.
Why is this important?
After the Crooked House burnt down a week after a pub chain sold it. It’s time the government protected our heritage, not only pubs but all our history. Make it a legal requirement that all buildings are insured and insurance companies rebuild to has was, sites are protected and monitored and enforcement is undertaken. Stop the demolition by arson that seems to be happening.
