Compensate postmasters forced to plead guilty
Many postmasters who were victims of the flawed Horizon system and Post Office prosecutions were pressured by threats and fear to plead guilty to false charges of fraud - as well as being forced to 'pay back' large sums of money, leaving them destitute and disgraced. These people are at present not due appropriate levels of compensation being promised for postmasters who were wrongly found guilty.
Why is this important?
It is a huge injustice that is being largely overlooked to not provide proper compensation for people ruined by the Post Office's flawed Horizon system - but not prosecuted because they were threatened into pleading guilty or forced to 'pay back' large sums they were falsely accused of stealing.
