Cut price of prescriptions
Cost of living rising is also affecting health in England as the price of prescriptions is currently £9.35 per item. If you take more medications the cost can be crippling, literally. Yet Scotland and Wales get them free! We need the government to make this fair and start charging these countries and reverse the subsidisation we have been subject to and make the cost of prescription lower. Perhaps back to £5 per script?
Why is this important?
Cost of living rises are bad enough without having choose something else over you medication. Some pensioners are being made to pay for these too.
