Declare Southampton a clean air zone
We need to improve drastically the air quality in Southampton. The roads are clogged up with cars and vans and air pollution is back to pre-covid levels. Every year over 100 people die in Southampton from air pollution. Many pop up bicycle lanes have been removed in my area. I thought the council were going to be bold to clean up the cities air but no.
Why is this important?
It is important because we need to reduce the traffic emissions to save our children and adults from lifelong consequences to their health
