Update the Denon AVPA1HDA AV Processor with newer audio formats such as Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Pulse. The processing capability of this processor is more than capable of handling these formats and they have become popular with Netflix

Why is this important?

The AVPA1HDA was an expensive audio Processor that was discontinued a few years ago. Many owners would like to be able to get the additional functional use from this processor that the new formats would bring. If they are within the capabilities of the hardware they should be made available via software update. If licenses are required then they could be made available to purchase. It is poor customer service to abandon such an expensive high end purchase.
