Early pension payments to terminally ill

Early pension payments to terminally ill

When people, who have contributed many years to the national insurance scheme, and diagnosed as terminal ill, they should be entitled to claim a percentage of their contributions to make their final months financially more comfortable

Why is this important?

Many people contribute from first starting work until well into their sixties towards a pension they will not live long enough to claim. Is this fair?

Reasons for signing

  • Because it is not fair. People who are terminally ill should get their retirement pensions straight away both state and private ones
