End food poverty

End food poverty by raising Universal Credit.

Why is this important?

Dear Rishi Sunak,

I am writing to you today as families like mine can't afford to live on Universal Credit. Most of our Universal Credit payments go on rent, gas, electric and other house hold bills. By the time we have paid out everything we have little left to spend on food shopping.

We can't afford any luxuries. People like myself have to go to charity shops to by clothes and food banks to be able to eat. We shouldn't have poverty - not in this country. It needs to end now by helping low income families by raising benefits like Universal Credit. We urgently need help, now.

Poverty should not exist in the UK. It is horrible watching the news and seeing other families struggling like this.
